Best set all season tires (18")

I apologize for being prompt, but I need to know what would be the best set of all season tires to put on the stock 18" 300C rims. The dealership said they'd put any brand on I desire (they needed to be replaced and it was the only way i would continue with purchasing the vehicle) and I need input!

I say all season for now, because it will be driven in the snow. Maybe something M+S rated? Looking for ideas. But I will be swapping out the stock wheels for high-performance summer tires once the season comes around again.

Thanks for the help! And I will introduce myself once i'm not in such a rush. :)

Welcome Mr.2 If you are gonna swap out in the summer and money is not a issue I would have the dealership put on Bridgestone Blizzak they are a performance winter snow tire. 182.00 each on tire rack website. That is what I would want for winter driving.

Can't argue with that. Blizzaks are the best and TR will sell you four (but not likely just two). However they are a winter tire and I would take them off for the summer. So if you truly want an all season, then look to the Michelin Primacy line. That's what I have put on our C... and I still take them off for the Blizzaks in the winter.

I'm curious if anyone has any expereince with the all season Yokohama Y520's. Next spring when my winter tires come off, I'd like to ditch the crappy OEM Continentals for a slightly larger tire, and the Yoko's come in a 235/60/18 size. Anyone have any feedback on these?

The Fortera's came stock on a 2007 Grand Cherokee I had for about a year and a half- they weren't bad on the Cherokee, but I would think they might be a little 'truckish" on the 300.

The reason I mentioned Blizzaks is that I know they are a great tire but costly and if the dealership is going to pay...why not. I know what your saying though about wanting summer wheels and maybe not enough cash. I have a 2006 300c not awd and I went to tirerack.com and did a lot of research and ending up driving to tire rack ( I live like 5-10 miles away) and went with Yokohama Avid H4S all season high performance tires. I have not had my car during winter yet but I really like the tires and the research I did said they are great in the winter. They were 103.00 each.

I run "Bridgestone Potenza G 019 Grid" right now; a VERY nice tire. My Intrepid also has these (the previous version) and have worn very nicely. The Blizzak's are for SNOW. They are NOT anywhere near as good as the Bridgestone Potenza's for general use. I've run Blizzak's on several of my cars for WINTER use only. They aren't as comfortable and are quite loud as well. For me, when it snows (I live in NH), i just work from home and take the Durango if I need to do any local driving.

I recommend the Potenza's.

Well, I guess you can say that I might have jumped the gun a little bit. Turns out the salesman said he could get me the car for the price i wanted (per month) and then turned around and is denying the whole thing. It's quite a shame considering I've really grown attached to these cars and now I can't seem to find one anywhere close to the price... I guess i will just have to keep searching...

Only a more topic oriented path: I agree, Blizzaks would be the best choice for JUST winter driving. Looking at the potential of running into summer months, that would rule those out. Both my parents swear by the triple treads (they have 2002 LHS and 03 300M w/18" aftermarket wheels) and I've had the Avid H4S on my MR2 and loved them. Guess I really can't go wrong with any of the recommendations here! Thank you all for the info!
